How It Works​

Now you can buy products on Smartea without real money.
The key name is "Smart Credits". You can accumulate them by doing various things.
Posting replies to threads, opening threads, reacting, engaging, and such, trigger currency "events".
Each events behaves differently and entails a different sum of award.

Say you want to buy our real world Xenforo Hebrew language pack.

You can buy real world products with a fake, digital currency.

The idea is to encourage engagement. You can say that your engagement in the forum will be compensated.

Checking Your Balance​

You can go to the side menu on the website:


Click on transactions, and you will be able to see your own transactions. How you got coins, where, and what from. This will allow you to monitor your balance, make sure that you still earn coins and learn how to get more:

1000 Smart Credits currently convert into 1 USD.

There could be a random addition of value to the award. So rather than getting the standard 100 SC for opening a thread, you might receive 128 SC instead.

Creating a thread except for in offtopic: 100 SC, 5 threads per 6 hours cooldown.
Replying to a thread except for in offtopic: 50 Smart Credits, 10 posts per 6 hours cooldown.
Reacting to any content anywhere: 5 Smart Credits.
Creating a thread only in offtopic: 20 SC, no cooldown.
Replying to a thread only in offtopic: 10 Smart Credits, no cooldown.
